Vi i IrPa er stolte over å ha bidratt i et viktig havvindprosjekt sammen med Aker Solutions i Stord. Arbeidet ble utført onshore på en offshore rigg som skal spille en nøkkelrolle i det grønne skiftet. Dette markerer også en viktig milepæl for oss som selskap, og viser at vi er klare til å støtte aktører i både onshore og offshore energisatsinger.

Oppdraget omfattet testing og kvalitetssikring av systemer om bord på riggen i form av inergen gasslokkeanlegg, og ble gjennomført med høyt fokus på sikkerhet og presisjon. Havvind er en bransje i rask utvikling, og vi ser et økende behov for aktører med kompetanse på integritetstesting i krevende miljøer – nettopp der IrPa kommer inn.

Vi står klare til å bistå med integritetstesting på alle typer plattformer, både onshore og offshore – enten det er landbaserte installasjoner, oljerigger eller konstruksjoner tilknyttet havvind. Vår erfaring fra tetthetskontroller, integritetstesting, termografering fra Svalbard til Dubai gir oss en solid plattform for å levere kvalitet også i nye sektorer som havvind.

For oss er det avgjørende å være i forkant, og derfor investerer vi kontinuerlig i opplæring og kompetansebygging. Flere av våre ansatte har nå fått spesialopplæring for offshorearbeid, og vi er i ferd med å bygge en robust plattform for å kunne levere tjenester til havs – både nå og i framtiden.

Med dette oppdraget har IrPa tatt et nytt steg inn i havvindsektoren, og vi gleder oss til å fortsette å bistå industrien – både onshore og offshore – med testing, kontroll og kvalitetssikring.

IrPa is proud to have contributed to an important offshore wind project in collaboration with Aker Solutions in Stord. The work was carried out onshore on an offshore rig that will play a key role in the green transition. This also marks a significant milestone for us as a company, and demonstrates that we are ready to support energy operators both onshore and offshore.

The assignment involved testing and quality assurance of onboard systems, specifically an Inergen gas suppression system. The work was carried out with a strong focus on safety and precision. Offshore wind is a rapidly growing sector, and we see an increasing demand for partners with expertise in integrity testing under challenging conditions—this is exactly where IrPa makes a difference.

We are fully prepared to assist with integrity testing on all types of platforms, both onshore and offshore—whether it’s land-based facilities, oil rigs, or structures related to offshore wind. Our experience with leak detection, integrity testing and thermography—from Svalbard to Dubai—gives us a solid foundation to deliver quality services in new and emerging sectors like offshore wind.

Staying ahead of the curve is essential for us, and we therefore continue to invest in training and competency development. Several of our team members have now received specialized offshore training, and we are steadily building a robust platform to deliver services at sea—both now and in the future.

With this assignment, IrPa has taken another important step into the offshore wind sector, and we look forward to continuing to support the industry—with testing, inspection, and quality assurance—both onshore and offshore.
